Principles
§00 · Five rules that hold across every register. When in doubt, go back to these.
01 · Two voicesDeparture Mono is the machine: labels, numbers, buttons, measurements. The serif is the human: headlines, explanations, stories. Never swap their jobs.
02 · Show the constructionGrids, guides, dimension lines, callouts and hatching stay visible. The process is the ornament.
03 · Ink blue is the thread
#1F3FD6 appears in every register: linework in A, a crayon color in B, the blue pencil in C. Kids and adults should feel it is one family.04 · Handmade, never sloppyRotations ±0.4–3°, offset prints and paper shadows, all deliberate and repeatable. Alignment underneath stays strict.
05 · One thousand no'sNo decorative gradients, no emoji, no filler stats. Each element has to earn its place.
